OLIVE OIL BAR 2024

In a specially designed area inside Stand 15 of FOOD & DRINKS, visitors will have the opportunity to get to know extra virgin olive oils from all over Greece, learn how to taste them and indulge themselves in olive oil pairings with selected dishes.

The 2nd Olive Oil Bar will operate on all 3 days of the exhibition.

In Olive Oil Bar mode,

  • all branded – standardized olive oils of the exhibitors will be displayed
  • an organoleptic analysis will be made of the different varieties and the intensities of their positive characteristics (fruity, bitter, spicy) as well as the other evaluation criteria of each premium extra virgin olive oil, both for consumers and those who market the product
  • shots of extra virgin olive oils will be “served” by the co-founders of Oliverse paired with food flavors, educating participants in the secrets of olive oils through taste tests

 

Guides on the “journey of taste” will be:

  • Mr. Panagiotis Papanikolopoulos – Business Consultant*
  • Mr. Konstantinos Tsoronis, Chemist – Oleologist*

 

*They are part of the Oliverse Organization, which is active in the fields of promoting olive oil gastronomy and highlighting the special quality characteristics of Greek olive oil varieties
